The 80’s was a revolutionary period in women’s
fashion, to this day we see repeating trends that started over 20 years
ago, and will continue in eras to come. This was a time where standing
out as an independent, and powerful women was necessary. Masculine looks

Leather, being an old time favourite was revamped
in this look, in Akerman rocking a modern, fitted skirt. We think Malin
killed this look. The leather pencil skirt, worn at knee
length appears sophisticated. Her choice of bare legs, with caged black
sandals is key- keeping the skirt young. We love how the blue printed blouse breaks up the look, and brings attention to her stunning, blue eyes.
